Treatment:
Laser/IPL
The laser light is absorbed by melanin
in the hair, which in turn causes the hair follicle to heat up to a
temperature at which it is irreversibly damaged. The hair falls out
and there can be no re-growth from the follicle.
Welwyn Aesthetic Clinic uses a
medical IPL system. This is a more powerful device than those used
by a Beauty Therapist offering hair removal. The use of a more
powerful system, coupled with skin cooling, will mean that each
individual treatment will eliminate more hair follicles, and
consequently fewer session will be required to achieve the desired
result.
